Earlier this year, Kopin has launched the project “Migrant Healthcare” funded by the 3rd Health Programme under the Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA) of the European Commission. The project has the main objective of strengthening Community-based Care to minimise health inequalities and improve the integration of vulnerable migrants and refugees into local communities. This objective will be reached through a research on the physical and mental health profile of vulnerable migrants/refugees as well as needs, expectations and capacities of service providers; a comprehensive toolbox for the implementation of community-based care models including prediction models, best practice examples, algorithms and tailor-made health and mental health materials; testing and assessment of community care models, in order to produce guidance and recommendations.

Within the framework of this project, Kopin is currently recruiting a Researcher to join the team between July 2017 and April 2020, to carry out the research work required for the successful implementation of the project. This is a paid position offered on a part-time basis, please find more information in the document attached.
